Chafee Statement on Resignations of Cabinet Secretaries Powell, Paige, Veneman and Abraham
Senator Lincoln Chafee issued the following statement today on the resignations of the Secretary of State Colin Powell, Secretary of Education Rod Paige, Secretary of Agriculture Ann Veneman and Secretary of Energy Spence Abraham: "The people of the United States are losing four dedicated public servants with the resignations announced today. Each has worked tirelessly in their own Departments for the past four years and leave their offices with the appreciation of an entire nation."
